Sterling Ranch in Littleton, Colo., has established specific guidelines for all its builders to ensure that residents have access to the most modern innovations and technologies, even partnering with companies such as IBM and Siemens. Called a “smart community,” Sterling Ranch is connected to a high-speed fiber optic network with giga-bit speed connections for all homes.

At Sterling Ranch, the company will offer its Signature homes, which emphasize greater openness within the floorplans, allowing light to travel freely from the abundant windows. Signature homes also are energy efficient, with large patio doors that virtually turn the outdoors into another part of the home.
