At this time last year, our team was in Fort Lauderdale for our annual Executive Summit seminar. We didn’t know it at the time, but that seminar would be our last in-person event for nearly a year due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic.

Although we were able to quickly shift our focus to offering online training events, two of most popular seminars—Managing for Profit and The Superintendent’s Job—are best suited for an in-person classroom environment. Not offering these popular seminars over the past year was a disappointment for us and for our builder community, as well.

We’re pleased to announce we have resumed our in-person events. Judging by the success of last month’s Managing for Profit seminar in Denver, our builder community is just as ready as we are to get back in the classroom for the networking opportunities and dynamic learning experiences our in-person training events are known for.

Our return to in-person seminars wouldn’t be possible without the willingness of our loyal builder community to venture out of their offices to reap the benefits of participating in a live, face-to-face training event. We appreciate all of the positive feedback we received from attendees of last month’s seminar. One builder said, “Great class again. We had a lot of takeaways as a company and we are now even more focused on what we need to do moving forward. Our focus on direct construction costs was our biggest action item.”

We wish to thank our valued partners BIMaire, ECI Software Solutions, and the Propane Education and Research Council for sponsoring our Managing for Profit seminar and participating in the successful networking reception at the event. Sponsoring our educational programs offers our manufacturer and service provider members a great opportunity to connect with an engaged community of successful builders in a relaxed environment.

Our next in-person seminar will be The Superintendent’s Job in Denver, April 15-17, 2021. This will be the last opportunity to attend this seminar before the fall session. The Superintendent’s Job and Managing for Profit will be offered as in-person events in New Orleans in September.

In addition to the in-person events mentioned above, we have a full lineup of online seminars scheduled throughout the year. Stay tuned for an announcement of our 2021 seminar schedule.
