Jerry Schafrath
Consultant, Shinn Group

Disciplines: Financial Analysis, Accounting Structure, Land Acquisition, Development and Financing, Software Implementation and Project Management

Jerry is a licensed CPA with over 30 years of experience in accounting, project management, and executive leadership across residential, commercial, and government construction. He holds an MBA with Honors, certifications in Project Management and Forensic Accounting, and has served as a CFO, COO, Project Manager, and college professor teaching accounting and project management. 

Currently, Jerry is the CFO for a luxury homebuilder in Florida’s Panhandle while collaborating with the Shinn Group on seminars and education, builder group facilitation and special projects.


Kenny Siggs
Consultant, Shinn Group

Disciplines:  Purchasing & Estimating, Procurement, Operations, Management, Cost Analysis, Growth and Multi-Market Scaling, Strategic Planning, Talent Acquisition

Kenny Siggs, a third-generation owner of Siggs Air Conditioning, has a BS in Building Construction, an MS in Management, and an MBA, along with General Contractor (CGC) and Air Conditioning (CAC) licenses. His career spans high-rise construction, homebuilding operations for both national and private builders, and corporate business strategy, specializing in estimating and procurement, cost analysis and strategic growth initiatives.

Kenny lives in Southwest Florida with his wife, Kirsten, their two daughters, and their dogs. He enjoys competing in triathlons, growing vegetables in their family garden, and listening to audiobooks.


Mike Welty
Consultant, Shinn Group

Disciplines: Executive Leadership, Operational Effectiveness, Sales Team Performance and Structure, Sales and Marketing Executive Strategy, Culture Development. 

With 16 years of experience in the new home industry, Mike has dedicated his time and passion to the homebuilding industry in Colorado while also building nationally recognized teams. With a strong background in operational efficiency, team building, and the homebuyer experience, Mike spent the last five years as President of Homebuilding for a privately held builder. During his tenure as President, Mike’s team was recognized for national awards, including Avid Gold (Best builder in the West), ECI best practices award, Northern Colorado Builder of the year, and annual Great Place to Work awards. 

Mike is passionate about building and developing sales and marketing teams while creating organizational efficiencies to maximize profit and alignment. Mike has carried his passion for new homebuilding into his local community, as he is past chair of Northern Colorado HBA and is currently on the executive ladder of the Colorado Association of Homebuilders.
