Tri Pointe Homes acquired 468 homesites in Gilbert, Arizona, as part of the third and final phase of the builder’s Waterston planned community. The new community includes six neighborhoods on more than 137 acres.

“The Waterston planned community has already been an outstanding development by many measures—the special combination of design and amenities, it’s already impressive sales performance, and the great East Valley location, including the fact it’s the only large-scale planned community in Gilbert,” says Tri Pointe Homes Arizona division president James Attwood.

Waterston Central’s one- and two-story homes will range from approximately 1,800 to 4,500 square feet with three to six bedrooms, two to four baths, and two- to four-bay garages. The builder’s 30-, 35-, 45-, and 50-foot-wide homes are expected to offer four floor plans while the 40-foot wide homes will offer five floor plans.

Residents will have access to all the approximately 480-acre planned community’s amenities, including a centralized lake, a clubhouse and pool, pocket parks, and walking trails. The community will also contain more than 43 acres of open space and will feature a large playground and open-air ramadas. The builder says Waterston Central’s development continues the overall planned development design that draws on the natural environment of the neighboring Veterans Oasis Park.

Following the 331-home first phase and the 485-home site Waterston North, the Waterston Central phase will bring the total homesites at the planned community to 1,284.
