Construction has begun on an amenity center at the Texas community called Wildridge, a master-planned community under construction by Ashlar Development in Oak Point.
The 340-acre community on Lake Lewisville has been in development for several years, and now has roughly 750 residents in 360 occupied homes, Royce Brooks, senior marketing manager for Ashlar Development, said in an interview with the Dallas Business Journal. About 700 remaining lots are available.
Pulte Homes and Chesmar Homes recently joined the builder roster at Wildridge, Brooks said.
Chesmar has seven floor plans for lots at the development, ranging from roughly 2,400 square feet to 3,800 square feet and priced at $360,000 to $430,000. Pulte has nine design options for homes at the development, ranging from 1,800 to 3,200 square feet and priced $290,000 to $360,000.
The addition of Pulte and Chesmar brings the total to five builders in Wildridge offering homes priced from $300,000 through the $700,000s, Brooks said. The other builders are American Legend Homes, Highland Homes and Plantation Homes.
