Instead of focusing on our needs as an organization this #GivingTuesday, Homes for HOPE would like to highlight three of our generous builder partners and celebrate the impact of their recent gifts! This first blog will focus on our friends at Classic Homes in Colorado Springs, CO. Please read to the end where we’ll also provide recommendations for the first of three other building industry related non-profits that we love and respect. We joyfully encourage you to consider supporting them today.

Homes for HOPE would like to thank Doug Stimple, George Lenz, Joe Loidolt, their families, and their team at Classic Homes for their generous gift totaling $67,000! This enables us to provide biblically based training, savings services, and loans for over 3,600 families living in underserved communities around the world this year alone!

Classic Home’s mission statement is “Sustained Excellence” and they model this by building a better world—for their clients, partners, and families—through hard work, honest business practices, and an unswerving dedication to excellence. This is true, not just in word, but also in practice as they support hundreds of local and international non-profits each year! Their thoughtful and organized approach to philanthropy is extremely impressive and instructive, yet they humbly seek no accolades for their strategically impactful generosity. In a year unlike any other, please join us in celebrating the Classic Homes team on this #GivingTuesday.

For #GivingTuesday, we invite you to consider supporting the amazing work of CoBuild and their non-profit division Emerging Builders, Inc. which provides on-the-job construction training and educational opportunities for Women, Black, and Indigenous People of Color. Learn more and give here.
