Davidson Homes—No. 93 on the 2021 Builder 100—announced the expansion of its leadership team as the company prepares for its next stage of growth. The Huntsville, Alabama–based builder promoted Greg Duriez to chief operating officer and appointed Jeff Deane as chief financial officer.
“Both executives strengthen our company as we continue our focused, organic expansion strategy of building in fast-growing, thriving communities in the South that offer home buyers an appealing quality of life,” says Adam Davidson, founder, president, and CEO of Davidson Homes. “These appointments are also a direct reflection of the success and appeal of our company’s strategy, momentum, and ability to retain, reward, and attract incredibly talented leaders.”
Duriez, who previously served as regional president for the builder, has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Before joining Davidson Homes, Duriez was the Atlanta division president for Century Communities. He has worked for Pulte Homes, NVR’s Ryan Homes, and KB Home. Duriez will oversee all ongoing operations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas and direct the company’s expansion into additional Southeast markets.
“It is an honor to take on this new role, and I want to thank Adam for this exciting opportunity,” says Duriez. “I am excited about the future and to continue working closely with Adam and our division presidents to grow our presence in each local market and identify new opportunities for expansion.”
Deane brings 26 years of accounting, finance, and operations experience to his role at Davidson Homes. Prior to joining the company, Deane had worked with William Lyon Homes, where he served in several leadership roles in finance, accounting, and operations since 2005.
“Adam is an exceptionally successful entrepreneur and leader and has built an amazing company,” says Deane. “His passion and long-term vision are what drew me to Davidson Homes. I look forward to working with Adam and Greg as the company moves forward with its next stage of growth.”
