Drees Homes has announced a leadership transition in its Midwest region, appointing Scott Drees as Regional President. In his new role, Drees will oversee operations across the company's Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Cleveland, Columbus and Indianapolis markets, succeeding longtime industry veteran Steve Tuckerman, who is retiring after nearly four decades in home building.
A fourth-generation member of the Drees family, Scott Drees represents the continued evolution of one of the nation's longest-standing family-owned home builders. Since joining the company in 2015, he has advanced through a variety of leadership positions spanning land acquisition, sales and division management, gaining experience across multiple facets of the business.
Prior to his time with Drees Homes, he worked as a project engineer for several major construction firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Colorado State University and earned an MBA with a graduate certificate in real estate from the University of Cincinnati.
Most recently, Drees led the company's Townhome division, where he spearheaded operational improvements designed to enhance construction efficiency and provide greater flexibility for homebuyers. Under his leadership, the division exceeded annual performance goals while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering quality homes and a positive buyer experience.
