Northwest home builder
Hayden Homes has unveiled a long-term commitment to contribute $25 million to charitable initiatives by 2030 through its newly established Give As You Go™ Fund. The program is designed to tie residential development to meaningful community support throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
The initiative will prioritize several impact areas, including attainable housing, youth programs and education, hunger relief, and support for First Story, Hayden Homes’ nonprofit organization focused on expanding homeownership opportunities.
A central component of the program engages homebuyers directly. For every new home purchased, Hayden Homes will contribute $300 through its “Every Home Gives” campaign. Part of each donation benefits First Story, while the remaining funds are directed to nonprofit organizations serving the local community where the home is built.
Homeowners are also encouraged to recommend nonprofits they would like to support, helping ensure donations remain community-focused and aligned with local needs.
In addition to buyer-linked giving, the company’s broader philanthropic commitment will help fund larger-scale regional projects. As an early example, Hayden Homes donated $100,000 to the Walla Walla Public Library’s “The Next Chapter” renovation effort, which includes development of the Hayden Homes Creativity Center.
