The future of the home building industry was on full display at the International Builders’ Show. The success of this year’s event is proof that the industry is as strong and dynamic as ever. The exhibit hall and education sessions were filled with attendees eager to discover the latest innovations and get inspired to tackle what’s next in the ever-changing housing market.

The Perfect Kickoff to IBS 2025

We had a great turnout and fun crowd at our 19th annual networking reception Monday evening. The opportunity to connect with our clients, partners, and friends at our networking reception before the show is always a highlight of the week.

This year, we had the pleasure of announcing Cornerstone Home Lending as our 2024 Service Provider Partner of the Year and Daikin Comfort Technologies as our 2024 Manufacturer Partner of the Year.

We wish to thank our valued reception sponsors for their participation and support: Cornerstone Home Lending, Daikin Comfort Technologies, Higharc, SKUworld, ECI Solutions, Field Controls, TK Design, GAF, Homes for HOPE, LiftMaster, and Metrie.

Our popular prize drawing was a hit again this year. We appreciate all of the fantastic items donated by our sponsors including an HVAC system, a Blackstone griddle, Apple AirPods Max headphones, and more!

A Learning Experience

“Taking advantage of the educational programs at this year’s show was a top priority for many of the builders I spoke with,” said Emma Jane Wildermuth, president of Shinn Group. “Our education sessions were very popular. And it was great to see so many of the home building companies in the Shinn community participate on panels this year.”

"Our partner, Kody Smith, CEO of NoviHome, moderated an impactful session on customer experience featuring Shinn builder members," said Brian Wildermuth, executive vice president of Builder Partnerships. "The program is based on the book Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara which explores the remarkable power of giving people more than they expect. Kody and the panel did a great job of sharing practical applications of the concepts for the home building industry."

With more than 120 education sessions offered at the event, the learning opportunities were endless. On the show floor, there was no shortage of innovative ideas and exciting new products to discover. Attendees no doubt gained valuable insights and walked away with plenty of inspiration to fuel their business strategies.

“The International Builders’ Show was a great success from my perspective,” said Terry Nickels, COO of Builder Partnerships. “Our reception was well-attended, our booth saw some good traffic, and I got to reconnect with a great many of our partners. As usual, I was not able to get around to everyone, but I am hopeful to connect with all of you within the next month. Wishing all of our partner builders, manufacturers and service providers great success in 2025.”

Thank you to everyone who attended our reception or stopped by our booth to say hello and visit with Chuck and Emma Shinn.

We hope to see you next year at IBS 2026!
