The Idaho-based builder and its trade partners are building a home where all the proceeds will be donated to local charities.
Hubble Homes—an Idaho-based builder celebrating its 25th anniversary this year—recently announced the groundbreaking on its Hubble Hero House.
The Hero House is a home that Hubble Homes and its many trade partners donate labor and materials to build and then sell, giving 100% of the proceeds from the sale to charity. Don Hubble and Kuna, Idaho, mayor Joe Stear had the honor of making the first dig and announcing the seven charities that will benefit from this year’s project.
All proceeds from the sale of the home will be donated to Advocates Against Family Violence, Alliance Serving Kuna/Kuna Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs of Ada & Canyon County, Camp Rainbow Gold, Idaho Humane Society, Idaho Crisis & Suicide Hotline, and Women’s and Children’s Alliance.
“Hubble Homes is extremely proud to be able to give back to the very community in which we build and share our success,” states the builder’s press release. “Through the Heart of Hubble program, Hubble Homes has contributed nearly $2.5 million in donations to local charities and nonprofits. The donation of this year’s Hero House is expected to exceed $500,000.”
This year, Hubble Homes will be building a new two-story floor plan, the Maple with loft, in the Greyhawk subdivision in Kuna. The house will feature four beds, three-and-a-half baths, a three-car garage, and 2,483 square feet of living space.
At Greyhawk, residents can enjoy relaxed country living with nearby access to outdoor adventures while still being close to the Boise metro and its amenities.
