The addition enhances Mungo's presence in strategic markets, including Augusta, Georgia, and Aiken, South Carolina, while reinforcing its position across the Southeast.
With a history spanning more than 70 years, Mungo Homes builds throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. McGuinn Homes has earned a strong reputation over the past 40 years, serving homebuyers across South Carolina and Georgia.
The two companies also share a strong culture of community involvement. Through the Mungo Homes Foundation, Mungo supports local organizations and hosts an annual Week of Service. McGuinn Homes demonstrates a similar commitment through its McGuinn Good™ initiative, which focuses on making a lasting difference in the communities it serves.
The acquisition broadens Mungo Homes' product portfolio and expands its ability to meet the needs of a wider range of homebuyers throughout the region. McGuinn Homes employs approximately 75 team members and is expected to close nearly 800 homes this year.
