Heritage in Dripping Springs, Texas, will offer a variety of design choices surrounded by highly desired amenities and natural charm.
Tri Pointe Homes and M/I Homes have begun construction at Heritage, a 188-acre community located 25 miles west of Austin, Texas, in the town of Dripping Springs.
The joint-venture development will deliver a total of 586 homes starting in late 2022. Tri Pointe will build 293 single-family homes across three collections, while M/I Homes will build 293 single-family homes across three different series.
“We’re excited to be kicking off construction at Heritage in the Dripping Springs market, where we’ll provide home buyers with beautiful craftsman and modern Hill Country home designs with an abundance of outdoor appeal,” says Bryan Havel, Austin division president at Tri Pointe Homes. “Our desire is to create a community that preserves the integrity and charm that Dripping Springs offers while delivering home buyers leading-edge design, personalization, and enduring craftsmanship.”
Tri Pointe Homes will build residences ranging from approximately 1,600 to 3,100 square feet with three to five bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, and two- to three-bay garages. The Park Collection features open-concept designs on 50-foot homesites, while the Terrace Collection features spacious living and gourmet kitchen options on 40-foot homesites. The all-new third collection is being designed and will debut at the community opening.
M/I Homes’ one- and two-story residences will range between approximately 1,300 and 3,500 square feet. The Capital series comprises seven floor plans—four single-story and three two-story—and offers two to three bedrooms with select floor plans having the option for a fourth bedroom. The Signature series is comprised of 14 floor plans that offer three to five bedrooms and game rooms in all the two-story home plans. The third series is being designed and will make its debut at the community opening as well.
“Having enjoyed a respected presence in Dripping Springs for over six years, we are excited to expand on that with an even more extensive offering of floor plans and price ranges, which will allow a larger audience of homeowners to have a delightful M/I Homes buying and ownership experience,” says Kreg Conner, vice president of sales and marketing at M/I Homes. “The Heritage location is a really appealing choice for families given the superior schools, quick access to central Austin, and all of the capital city’s amenities and attractions as well as the special quality of life they will enjoy in a fast-growing submarket with a small-town feel.”
Upon completion, Heritage plans to feature a large array of community amenities including a community center, several pocket parks, and walking trails throughout. The community is situated in the heart of town surrounded by the historic district. Residents will be able to take a trail from Heritage to downtown Dripping Springs where there is shopping, dining, wine tasting rooms, and breweries.
Sales at both Tri Pointe’s home collections and M/I’s home series are anticipated to start in fall 2022.
