Daikin U.S. Corporation has released its 2025 Business and Innovation Report, outlining the company’s continued expansion in the United States and its leadership in innovation, sustainability, and energy efficiency. Marking more than 30 years of growth in the U.S., the report highlights how the country has become Daikin’s largest global market and employer base.
The report is organized around five themes—American Impact, Innovation, Sustainability, Community, and Comfort for All—and details significant U.S. investment, including more than $9 billion across manufacturing, R&D, and distribution. Since 2015, Daikin has more than doubled its U.S. workforce to over 25,000 employees, supported by a nationwide operational footprint.
A key focus is Daikin’s three-pillar strategy for strengthening energy resilience and advancing building decarbonization through technology leadership, lifecycle-based environmental solutions, and alignment with public policy. The report also tracks progress toward the company’s Environmental Vision 2050, noting substantial greenhouse gas reductions to date and ambitious near- and long-term climate targets.
In addition, the report emphasizes Daikin’s commitment to community engagement and its People-Centered Management philosophy, underscoring employee development, diversity, and long-term social impact as central to its growth strategy.
